For the love of MOB!
Okay so I just checked MOB Living today as I do EVERY morning and did I fall in love as I always do with new Married to the MOB drops! For the first time ever they have come out with dresses and I think that despite my promise to mother that I wouldn’t shop I am going to have to cop at least one of the dresses and the Sex Sells tee because they are dope as hell! They’ll probably be up on Karmaloop soon where you can get 20% off your first purchase and 10% off with all other purchases as long as you use rep code: KM29226! In the meantime here are some pictures via Mob Living

Wishful Thinking #2
Boys wish they were girls and girls wish they were rich like Olivia Palermo who don’t have to pay for stuff because designers give them the choice picks of the season because they are rich and go to rich people parties. On that note why can’t they give some love to those of us struggling to save up for months to buy an outfit? And net-a-porter why must you tease us poor students who long for these pieces of wearable art? Damn you mid-season sale which I still can’t afford even at 40% off!
3.1 Phillip Lim Silk Lurex Bubble Dress
($405 on sale)
Marc by Marc Jacobs Panthera Strapless Dress
($342 on sale)
Marc by Marc Jacobs Bowhaus Acrylic Cuff
($58.80 on sale)
–its not too expensive but for someone not working much, going to school and living in her parents’ house still, its a pipedream

Miss Me? Always!!!
Okay when I first heard about Miss Me Couture I have been following their last few collections which have been getting better and better. The only problem is that I don’t know if there is anywhere in Vancouver that sells the brand! The Miss Me website doesn’t ship to Canada =( and Revolve keeps selling out of the dresses I want before I even see them! If anyone knows where to find this in Vancouver leave me a comment PLEASE!

Relax lil mama!
So today I decided to take a little bit of a breather. I had a project due yesterday which I didn’t realize I had due until 9 am. Luckily I pulled it out of my ass and got it going and finished it! Yay me! So today I hung out with L for a little bit and then headed downtown to do a little shopping! Originally I bought the Zara Balmain inspired studded heels which I saw Wendy from Nitrolicious rock. Then I went to Gia and found a great pair of black almond toed heels called “Outta the Frying Pan” by Seychelles for guess how much? 25 bucks! What a steal! I ended up returning the Zara ones which were the LAST size 6 but cost 177 after tax. I just couldn’t deal with paying that much on a pair of trend shoes especially when I’m still in school and not working often! Afterwards Joyce and I went to Bread Garden for some tea and we shared a smoked salmon quiche (tasty!) I headed to Richmond, dropped by Aritzia and bought the now Talula Babaton formerly Wilfred skirt that I talked about a few posts ago! (Please ignore the hair which I have not done anything to after showering!)

All in all it was a pretty relaxing day with some shopping, food and close friends! P.S. I have added Solo Lisa to my blog roll because I love how fun she makes her posts and her advice how-tos! Check her out!

yay or nay for Ye’s new girl??
Okay so I have seen some people loving her (Missbehave) and some people bashing her (white lighting). What do you think of Miss Amber on Kanye’s arm? I say yay because I don’t know why. I just think she rocks her look well and damn do I like her accessorizing.

Suit Up!
From the latest episode:
Barney: A hug is just like a public dry hump.
Marshall: I think you’re hugging wrong….
Barney: Shape Up!
For those of you who follow HIMYM, one of Barney Stinson’s favorite phrases is “suit up” (thanks for the inspiration Aimee!). Well, I have been thinking about my wardrobe lately and how casual it is. Thus I have decided that I need to buy some more dressier pieces. I am probably going to get the Wilfred tapered high waisted skirt (with all the pleats) which looks sort of like this Vivienne Westwood Anglomania (via net-a-porter.com) one:

I’m also going to be on the hunt for some good heels because well I don’t have any that are comfortable. Thus, less sneaker purchases from me. Besides, I have a pretty decent-sized sneaker collection and I don’t think I have to increase the numbers too much! On my way to suiting up!
